The Limited Corporate Headquarters and Distribution Center is located on 1-270 at Morse Road. This 160-acre site accommodates massive distribution buildings and employee parking. Large loading ramps and service roads occupy additional space. While the buildings and functional areas occupy a high percentage of the site, several existing natural areas are preserved. Wooded groves along Morse Road, portions of the stream corridor in the center of the site and a wooded hillside along the south edge provide a natural foil and backdrop for the overall complex. The focal point of the main corporate entry is a stream and a series pools with waterfall cascades. Constructed with broad limestone ledges and landscaped with birch trees and hostas, this scene is a dramatic part of the dining and corporate office environment. Individual landscaped drop-off drives and pedestrian walkway corridors link each building to convenient, landscaped employee parking. Truck loading areas are concealed with landscaping and carefully controlled site lines and drive separation. Outdoor employee terraces and landscape amenities are available for use at each building.
